April, Easter Abiding
Simple, beautiful ways to celebrate the Resurrection and transform your space this season
April is here and I am not sure where March has gone other than that it has flown by!
I am beginning to switch out small things in my home from simple Lenten decor to the color in the Easter season! I love switching things out for the liturgical season because of the ways that you can step into the intentionality and celebration of each season with the Church. When doing so, I feel connected to the broader Church; I feel my home entering into the dessert of Lent and it’s another way to enter into fasting, and now with the arrival of the Risen Christ this Easter, I can feel my heart and home is bursting at the seams with Resurrection joy!
Here’s a collection of somethings I am eying and some things I am loving recently!
You can find the whole collection here!
+ My roommate and recently hung up a gallery wall. I am going to keep the frames but switch out some of the images with each liturgical season. I love these striped frames for some extra color and to keep tucked away to bring out in celebratory seasons like Easter and Christmas! You can also never go wrong with blue and white.
+ I wore this blue dress on my birthday this past March and it feels like such a celebratory and Spring dress! I finally splurged on this pilates set for Easter and I get compliments every time I go to the gym! It’s also so breathable in hot pilates and is so reasonably priced from Old Navy!
+ I have been thinking of ideas for closing gifts for my clients and I love this holy water font! I also love this wall vase. This past march I went on a retreat and one of the talks was on beauty. To a room full of women, a priest gave us permission, “Do not keep anything ugly in your home!” In that mindset, these feel like beautiful gifts to give!
+ In my last abiding collection post, I talked about table runners being an easy switch in seasonal decor and they can bring new life to small spaces. I love this Spring one! And this more affordable Quince one. Table runners and candle sticks can do so much on a small budget.
+ Some of my favorite items this month have been these shoes (wearing them daily to work) and this lotion (shout out to my esthetician for the recommendation).
I would love to see some of the ways you are cultivating the Easter season and abiding in your home! Drop a comment of a season switch that you made to cultivate beauty and intentionality in your home recently!
I am praying for you this Easter. Go and cultivate beauty with the Risen Christ! Alleluia!

All of these are super cute! I need a wall vase immediately! I also am inspired to decorate with some cute candle sticks!
